This week, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades worked on some team offense concepts.  We worked on spacing, screening and cutting while showing hands.  Here are the results from the games:

Results from January 21

What a beautiful, although cold January day.  Inside the boys were trying to heat up the nets at Brown, working on shooting and layups.  5th and 6th grades focused on defense at the high school.  We had a lot of fun - see you next week.

January 21 (Week 2)

This week, the 2nd through 4th graders will be focusing on shooting. The players love working with the boys. We had a lot of fun last week and are looking forward to this week.

The t-shirts are not in yet - hopefully by tomorrow. Here are the teams.  If you can, please wear the t-shirt color that corresponds with your team.  We tried to split up the teams fairly. (although it doesn't always work out well)

January 14th (Week 1)

Thanks to all the parents and kids who showed up for the 2012 youth basketball program.
2nd -4th grade were at Brown with Coach Crandell while 5th and 6th grades were with Coach Honton and Reinstein at the High School.

The 2nd through 4th graders focused on defense, communication and rebounding, while the 5th and 6th graders worked on the fundamentals of shooting.

The t-shirts have been ordered - they will hopefully be here this week.
